 neurodevelopment movement therapy

neurodevelopment movement therapy is excellent for developing the brain, sensory, nervous and motor systems. They help the brain grow and function at its best, resulting in more happiness and health. This is a highly effective therapy for both adults as well as children. Neurodevelopmental Movements are derived from what babies do in the womb and infancy and they are highly stimulating to the brain. Reflex movements are the first foundations of the nervous system and they originate in the brain stem. If they are unintegrated, meaning they have not fully completed their process of emerging/development/integration process, they can trigger the "fight or flight" response creating chronic stress in the body and brain. When reflexes are active then body parts cannot move independantly and can cause aches and muscle tension, weak muscle tone, fatigue and the need for great amounts of effort to complete tasks. Movement is the most effective means we have of directly improving our brain functioning. Integrating reflexes is key for the ability to learn easily, manage our emotions and impulses, get along with others and meet life's challenges with greater ease. Incomplete integration of childhood reflexes can be mild to severe and contributes to: - anxiety
- ADD/ADHD
- autism
- stress responses
- addiction
- learning disorders
- speech disorders
- developmental delay
- sensory processing disorders
- vision or hearing problems
- behavioral challenges
- depression
- fatigue
- lack of confidence
- extreme shyness
- low self esteem
Neurodevelopment Movement Therapy is for all ages and stages of life.
